Shirley developed a love for storytelling and drama when she was involved in her very first devised Musical, Chris Galistan and the Seven Seeds, in primary school. Ever since, she has been active in speech and drama as her CCA, dance, singing and have hosted a couple of school events. Now, Shirley holds a Diploma in Theatre (English Drama) from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore and a BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts, in partnership with East 15 Acting School, University of Essex.
Shirley enjoys the art of Musical Theatre. She has performed in the Triple Threats Musical Theatre Workshop Showcase by Pangdemonium in 2017 and was awarded the DBS-Pangdemonium NextGen Education Certificate in recognition of her commitment, positive attitude and hard work that was demonstrated.
Shirley has a strong zeal towards preschool children. She believes that the art of drama holds an important process in the growth of a child. Therefore, she is grateful to be active in TLC, given an opportunity to create and instill a healthy learning environment where the creation of the children derives from the natural element of fresh child-like curiosity and imagination of their own.
