Due to Muzi’s personal and academic merits, she was selected to complete her degree in 2 years instead of 4 years. She was also given an invaluable opportunity to work in the local television station as a station reporter cum editor before she moved on to teach music at a local secondary school. Muzi’s teaching experiences in Singapore included:

Teaching Chinese Musical Performance to children of all ages at Presbyterian Community Services (PCS) Childcare Centre
Muzi joined The Learning Connections in June 2014 as our Chinese drama and theatre arts educator. She is well-versed in the Orff-Schulwerk and the process drama approaches, and she integrates both approaches in the development and teaching of TLC’s Chinese arts education programmes. Muzi strongly believes in the value of arts and in giving children a platform to harness their imagination and creativity. She aims to develop children’s confidence and self-expressions through arts.
